"Grappa Barricata del Colle" Vol. 40%
Unlike young (unaging) grappa barricaded grappa, as a result of distillation, undergoes a small aging in wooden bars that generally range from 6 to 12 months.
Aging consists in the preservation of the distillate, for a certain period, in wooden barrels or barrels (typically oak, ash and cherry) that have not been waterproofed because it would obviously prevent the process of enrichment of the distillate.
On the nose it is very complex and enveloping, hints of ripe fruit, honey, tobacco and cocoa emerge.
In the mouth it is very persistent, with a sweet finish, supported by a soft and velvety alcohol.
